Professional Writing

Below is a recent project on which we partnered with South Texas College of Law Houston. We interviewed 17 students, alumni and professors and wrote profiles in STCL Houston’s new ViewBook. The final product is impressive, just like the school. We hope you’ll take a peek and share it with anyone you know considering law school. Contact us to discuss how we can support your writing needs.

Organizations often need help writing and distributing newsletters. We can help. No matter the format, we can interview your experts, write the newsletter content and layout the piece for email distribution.
A few examples of newsletters we produce are below:

Project Brief

Client: Broussard Logistics

Objective: The client wanted to publish more online content to further support its search engine optimization (SEO) efforts and generate more qualified leads through its website. However, the team’s busy schedules didn’t allow the leaders to take on the writing assignments.

Solution: Tell Your Tale interviews the client’s leaders and then writes blog posts each month, leveraging the executives’ expertise. Tell Your Tale incorporates key words into the blog posts to tie into the SEO efforts and recommends relevant images to feature. Broussard Logistics is measuring the traffic to the blog posts and the engagement with prospects on the website. Additionally, Tell Your Tale created a branded layout for these articles so that the writing could be emailed or handed out in a professional format to further support the sales team.

Project Brief

The Houston West Chamber of Commerce (HWCOC) hired Tell Your Tale to write success stories that spotlight Chamber members who have grown their businesses through involvement in the HWCOC. The “Member Spotlights” would be shared with prospective members to show how Chamber membership generates new business. The articles would also be shared with current Chamber members to encourage more participation.

With a list of members identified, Tell Your Tale interviewed the selected professionals, asking questions that would pinpoint how these people participated in Chamber activities to reap a strong ROI on their investment of both dollars and time. Based on the interviews, our writers drafted two-page articles that were vetted with the Chamber and the highlighted businesses. Next, Tell Your Tale created a template leveraging the Chamber’s brand to give the articles a professional and easy-to-read look.

Feedback from Chamber members has been strong.

“Many companies struggle to grab people’s attention and to explain their value proposition. Tell Your Tale did an excellent job of articulating how an engaged and active member of the Houston West Chamber can build business and brand. Tell Your Tale – tells it right.”
Jeannie M. Bollinger, President/CEO, Houston West Chamber of Commerce

“I was thrilled with the interview and write-up done by Megan Salch, President of Tell Your Tale, for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce Member’s Spotlight Project. I found her to be extremely professional; skilled in her interview techniques; and exacting in her writing and article layout. I was very impressed with the final outcome of the article and passed it to my regional vice-president of P.F. Chang’s, who in turn shared the article with the entire executive team and our other P.F. Chang’s restaurants. The article even got the attention of the CEO of PF Chang’s, who in turn e-mailed me to thank me for the work I have been doing. Thanks Megan, you really made me shine.”

Project Brief

Tell Your Tale was hired to write and layout a case study illustrating Xpediant’s work with its client Novo Nordisk U.S. As Xpediant worked with this pharmaceutical organization, new opportunities arose, leading to more work. The challenge was that the case study needed to concisely capture multiple projects and the ROI delivered, while highlighting Xpediant’s strong technical skills balanced with cost-saving measures. Tell Your Tale conducted two interviews and wrote a two-page case study that was well received by both Xpediant and its client. The case study is featured prominently on Xpediant’s website and shared with its prospects.

All of us loved the case study! Very well written and you got all the details put out in a very understandable fashion.”
QUSAI MAHESRI, MANAGING DIRECTOR OF XPEDIANT SOLUTIONS
